Committee Description

NCURA Region V’s Publications & Communications Committee advances a comprehensive, member-centered, sustainable group of volunteers. Led by the Committee Chair and overseen by the Secretary, the committee is responsible for keeping NCURA Region V members informed through social media, email blasts, flyers, and any other methods of communication needed. The committee structure includes areas that focus on designing graphics, scheduling social media posts, and creating engaging materials for all members. The committee welcomes all Region V members of all career stages and
backgrounds to serve. The committee advances the mission and vision of Region V and NCURA National.

Committee Duties:

In collaboration with the Region V Officers, establish the annual social media schedule.
Communicates regularly with the Region V Secretary and Officers ahead of the dissemination of social media posts not planned.
Works with officers and the committee to ensure social media graphics are created & posted on social media platforms in accordance with social media guidance and the agreed-upon social media schedule.
Identifies accomplishments (e.g., achievements, certifications) of Region V members for celebration on social media.
Monitors and maintains the Region V social media accounts and other communication channels with oversight by the Region V Secretary and in adherence to Region V guidance.
Assists with Region V e-Blasts and distribution of CEU certificates after the Region V meeting.
Regularly communicates with Region V Officers to disseminate information and accolades via social media platforms.
Performs other duties as agreed upon.
