Overview
The Mustang Mentoring Program Committee (MMPC) provides strategic leadership and operational support for the NCURA Region V Mustang Mentoring Program. The committee consists of a minimum of five (5) members who commit to a two‑year term. MMPC members collaborate to design, implement, and continuously improve the mentoring experience for program participants.
Committee members meet monthly, with additional meetings as needed throughout the program cycle. Once cohort activities are underway, members also support monthly cohort calls. Service on the committee requires an estimated commitment of approximately 24 hours annually (about 2 hours per month). Time commitments vary throughout the year, with increased effort during application review, mentor–mentee pairing, and cohort launch. Committee members are also encouraged to attend/participate in the MMP presentation sessions and cohort graduation at the Region V Fall Meeting.
