Presentation Description: International visitors (visiting scholars, collaborators, delegations, and prospective students touring labs) are a routine part of academic life, but they carry compliance obligations that are easy to overlook until something goes wrong. This session equips research administrators with a practical understanding of why and how institutions screen international visitors, and what happens when screening intersects with active research.
