Professional Development Opportunities

NCURA Region V strongly encourages the professional and personal growth of its new and existing members. From Lunch & Learns to the yearly Regional Meeting, members are encouraged to explore various learning opportunities, available either in-person or online.

Lunch & Learns

Lunch and learns are monthly, voluntary zoom meetings that provide training sessions or presentations that take place during the lunch hour. They bring together members from across the region in an informal atmosphere to collaborate and learn, designed to drive personal, team and professional development. Mustang Mentoring Program

The Mustang Mentoring Program (MMP) is adapted from the NCURA Leadership Development Institute and is designed to develop the leadership skills of the MMP participant.  The intention is to create a leadership pipeline of individuals to serve at the regional level while providing educational and professional development for the mentee.  The overall approach to mentoring should result in increased volunteer involvement and participation from NCURA Region V members.
