Life Cycle of Sponsored Projects

Recovery Act Update

Department Crisis Management When Dealing with Auditors

RCR: Making the New Regulations Work for You

The National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health have both come out with added regulations on the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR). This session will provide an overview of the new federal requirements for additional training in RCR.  A discussion on the many ways Universities are handling these new requirements will be provided. Information sharing among institutions is encouraged so bring training/curriculum ideas to share with your colleagues.

FDP and STAR Metrics Update

The Federal Demonstration Partnership (FDP) continues to embark on new initiatives while sustaining existing initiatives, all in the name of streamlining federal regulations and processes. FDP is implementing a pilot project called Science and Technology in America’s Recovery (STAR). This joint program between FDP and the federal Office of Science and Technology Policy is designed to capture the impact of federal investment in the national research enterprise. Learn about the STAR pilot project and other projects currently underway in the FDO.
